Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brian Dean (ranked 3015 p4p, 3553 weight class) and Maximo Costa (ranked 363 p4p, 426 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Dean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maximo Costa!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa lands with a nice body punch.
Dean looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Costa works Dean's body with a nice hook.
Dean uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Costa.
Costa tries to clinch up but Dean circles away and keeps his distance.
Costa doesn't manage to clinch there - Dean circles away.

Costa forces Dean back against the cage and clinches.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Costa.

Dean breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dean misses with a head kick.
Costa avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Dean gets tackled into the cage by Costa. Costa maintains the clinch.

Costa breaks from the clinch.
Costa moves in looking to clinch but Dean pushes him off.
An attempted straight right counter from Dean misses the target.
Dean throws a low kick but Costa avoids it.
Costa tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Dean tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice defenses there by Dean.
Nice body punch from Costa.
Costa has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Costa throws out a powerful jab.
Costa lands a nice hook to Dean's body. Dean takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Costa looks to land a right hand but Dean moved out of range.
Dean swings widly with a right hand
and Costa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Costa scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dean doesn't seem bothered though.
Dean looks up at the clock. Bad move! Costa lands a right hand from hell, dropping Dean. Costa pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
