Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bo Bo She!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Touney Jack!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack lands a jab to the head.
It looks like Bo Bo She has been cut.
Decent striking displayed by Jack there.
Jack fakes high and swings low for a body shot but She manages to avoid it.
Jack doesn't manage to clinch there - She circles away.
Jack misses the shot to the body.
She will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Jack misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from She.
She closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jack's guard.
She stops Jack from standing up.
She decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jack paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jack works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Touney Jack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
She keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jack.
She drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jack gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
That's one minute gone in the round.
She trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Jack wants to control but She is having none of it.
She breaks from Jack's wrist control and lands an elbow.
She working the ground and pound effectively.
She has control of Jack's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jack regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
She is working for a guillotine from mount but Jack frees his head quite easily.
Jack has left one of his arms exposed and She doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Jack screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bo Bo She!
