Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zerat Sherishev (ranked 4405 p4p, 4579 weight class) and Nicolas Balachowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zerat Sherishev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nicolas Balachowski!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherishev looks to throw a body kick
and Balachowski counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Sherishev is wriggling around but Balachowski manages to pass to half guard.
Still in half guard, Balachowski seems content to control.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Balachowski connects with a nice short shot to Sherishev's temple.
Sherishev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sherishev has left one of his arms exposed and Balachowski doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Sherishev screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
