Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deontay DJ (ranked 1924 p4p, 2066 weight class) and Earnie Shavers (ranked 217 p4p, 228 weight class). DJ comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Scrappy - No Problem. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Earnie Shavers!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DJ scores with a hook to the body. Shavers takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nice uppercut there from Shavers.
DJ looks to land a combination but Shavers avoids it well.
Shavers throws a hook but DJ blocks it.
Shavers walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. DJ checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
DJ definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shavers scores with a nice strike.
DJ moves out of range as Shavers throws a body kick.
Shavers slips a jab and a cross from DJ.
A solid body kick from DJ.
Earnie Shavers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DJ cracks Shavers with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
DJ closes the distance and pushes Shavers back into the cage.
DJ breaks from the clinch.
A punch combination from DJ misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shavers scores with a one two! DJ had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
DJ misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nice body punch from Shavers.

Shavers lands with a right hand.
Shavers takes a head kick and keeps coming.
DJ fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shavers manages to avoid it.
Shavers ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Shavers looks to clinch
and DJ counters with a lovely shot to the body.
DJ fails in his attempt to clinch.
DJ drops Shavers with a beautiful combination! Shavers stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - DJ is looking for the KO!
Shavers is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shavers missing with a left hand there. DJ was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Shavers is still on wobbly legs! Can DJ finish him?
DJ uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shavers.
Shavers seems to have recovered his senses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Shavers looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Shavers looks to throw the jab but DJ is out of range.
DJ with a nice cross.
DJ misses with an uppercut. Shavers saw that one coming.

A good leg kick by DJ.
DJ lands a left and a right that send Shavers crashing to the mat, dazed. DJ thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Shavers misses with a double jab.
DJ walks into a jab.
Shavers tries to clinch there but DJ circles away.
It looked like DJ was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Shavers walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! DJ swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Deontay DJ!
A relieved looking Deontay DJ thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
