Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trike Quicky (ranked 4480 p4p, 4645 weight class) and Ayden Gjerstad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quicky fails with an attempt to clinch.
Quicky throws a series of punches but Gjerstad avoids them all with ease.

Quicky has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gjerstad is working away from the top position though.
Quicky pushes Gjerstad off looking to stand but Gjerstad dives back in and keeps control.

Gjerstad seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Quicky got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gjerstad has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Quicky has managed to get both his arms back between Gjerstad's legs - danger averted.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gjerstad holds on and takes a little breather.

Gjerstad remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Well Gjerstad has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
