Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ubungu Bamboo Face!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bamboo Face throws a lazy right hand but Araujo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Araujo with a lazy takedown attempt
and Bamboo Face cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Araujo fails with a takedown attempt.
Araujo dives in for a single leg takedown but Bamboo Face sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thiago Araujo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bamboo Face has Araujo pressed against the cage.
Bamboo Face misses with a hook from the clinch.
Araujo tries to work over Bamboo Face's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
We've been informed that Bamboo Face has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Araujo is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Araujo jumps guard and drags Bamboo Face to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bamboo Face is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Araujo wants to sweep here but Bamboo Face controlling him for the moment.
Araujo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Araujo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bamboo Face manages to get himself to full guard.
Araujo wants to pass the guard but Bamboo Face is keeping the position.

Bamboo Face is pulling down on Araujo's head to control his posture.
Araujo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bamboo Face is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Araujo, into his guard.
Bamboo Face postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
We've been hearing good reports from Araujo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Bamboo Face has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Araujo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Bamboo Face is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Araujo pulls down on the head and he's put Bamboo Face to sleep! This one is all over!
