The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nomnomgomedov doesn't seem bothered though.
Nomnomgomedov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nomnomgomedov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Daniel closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Nomnomgomedov's guard.
Daniel slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Nomnomgomedov.
Nomnomgomedov is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Daniel has latched onto it... Big trouble! Daniel pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Nomnomgomedov is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Daniel!
