The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws a good cross that connects.
Lesnar is looking to chop away at Diaz's legs.
Diaz appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
A jab from Diaz finds it's way through Lesnar's defenses.
Lesnar tries to clinch there but Diaz circles away.
Diaz lands with a shot to the body.
Maverick Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz throws out a powerful jab.
Diaz has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Diaz there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lesnar takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Lesnar tries a head kick but it misses.
Diaz cracks a nice hook into Lesnar's ribs.

Lesnar pushes Diaz up against the cage in a clinch.
Diaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Diaz is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Lesnar fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Diaz scores with a nice head shot.
Diaz throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Lesnar stumbling backwards into the cage! Lesnar bounces back off the cage towards Diaz, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Diaz lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Diaz celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Maverick Diaz!
