Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franck Kodjia (ranked 415 p4p, 985 weight class) and Ted Bundy (ranked 13 p4p, 29 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Franck Kodjia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ted Bundy!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kodjia throws a head kick that misses.
Bundy lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Kodjia scoring well with a low kick there.
Kodjia scores with a hook to the body. Bundy takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Bundy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bundy moves away from the strike by Kodjia.
Bundy tries to clinch up but Kodjia circles away and keeps his distance.

Bundy tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Bundy shoots in for a takedown but Kodjia shows good takedown defense.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kodjia throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bundy sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Kodjia tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bundy was well out of range. Poor timing from Kodjia.

I was talking to Kodjia's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Bundy takes a shot to the head.
Bundy lands a body punch.
Bundy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kodjia avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bundy is trying to drag Kodjia to the mat but Kodjia just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Franck Kodjia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ted Bundy.

It looks like Ted Bundy has been cut.

Kodjia throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bundy blocks it with crossed arms.

Kodjia stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Kodjia lands a hook to the side of the head.
Bundy is rocked!
Kodjia landing knees to the body.
Bundy is still on wobbly legs! Can Kodjia finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kodjia lands with a short shot to the head.
Kodjia scores with a nice hook to the head.
Kodjia lands a vicious elbow to the side of Bundy's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Kodjia tries to finish him with strikes but Bundy still seems able to defend himself so Kodjia steps back and lets Bundy get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Bundy gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Kodjia points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Bundy wakes up just in time to hear Kodjia thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Franck Kodjia!
In his post fight interview, Franck Kodjia started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
