Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Heimbach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Temille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Temille has chosen Blazin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Joseph Temille is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Heimbach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joseph Temille! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heimbach tries to clinch up but Temille circles away and keeps his distance. Temille throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Heimbach shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Temille as he avoids it easily. Heimbach throws the left hand but Temille avoids the punch easily. Temille lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Temille. Temille misses with a jab, cross combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Heimbach has a takedown stuffed. Temille looks to land a body kick but Heimbach moved away.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch combination from Temille misses. Heimbach shoots in but Temille avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Heimbach. That's going to take a lot out of him. Heimbach throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Temille closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Temille postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Temille landing strikes. Heimbach tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Temille wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Temille scoring with punches and elbows. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Heimbach regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Heimbach is trying to maintain the position but Temille is very close to passing his half guard. Heimbach is trying to control but Temille passes into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Heimbach is looking to regain half guard here but Temille keeps moving and retains side control. Heimbach is trying to control Temille's posture but Temille avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Heimbach is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Heimbach manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Temille looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joseph Temille dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A leg kick checked by Heimbach. Heimbach tries to clinch but Temille moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Temille fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Heimbach, pushing him back against the cage. Temille pulls guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Temille working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Heimbach doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Heimbach manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Heimbach trying to control but Temille is working from the bottom. Temille looking to control but Heimbach passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Temille is not content to let Heimbach control the position. Temille is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Heimbach winds up and cracks Temille with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Heimbach perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Heimbach is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Temille is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jake Heimbach!
