Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Zapata!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Zapata. Ortiz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ortiz attempts a counter takedown but Zapata avoids it well and moves away.
Zapata shoots in and gets a takedown into Ortiz's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ortiz has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Zapata doesn't defend quickly enough and Ortiz has managed to lock this one up! Can Zapata escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ortiz on a fantastic submission victory.
