Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Buffer (ranked 5102 p4p, 6068 weight class) and Robin Godbeer (ranked 454 p4p, 502 weight class). Godbeer has chosen Electric as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buffer lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Godbeer pushes Buffer up against the cage in a clinch.
Godbeer has Buffer pressed against the cage, preventing Buffer from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Godbeer creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Buffer's defenses.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
