Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Joyce (ranked 4141 p4p, 4972 weight class) and Marvin Vettori (ranked 487 p4p, 529 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joe Joyce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marvin Vettori!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Ben Watson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vettori throws a shot from downtown. Joyce moves away and avoids it.
A low kick from Joyce misses
and Vettori counters with a straight right hand.
Vettori fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Vettori darts in looking for a takedown but Joyce gets double underhooks and turns Vettori into the cage.
Joyce throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Vettori counters with a left to the body.
Vettori swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Joyce.
Joyce takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Vettori gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Vettori takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Joyce looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vettori ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Joyce moves away.
Joyce throws a lazy right hand but Vettori sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nice combo by Vettori! Oh, that's hurt him - Joyce falls to the canvas and Vettori follows him into side control.
Joyce is rocked!
It looks like Joe Joyce has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vettori scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Joyce is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Vettori can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marvin Vettori!
An intense looking Marvin Vettori took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I want to dedicate this victory to all the italians that are struggling and those who believed in me, gimme the best fighters of the division, i'm not here to joke, I'm the best!'.
