The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matthews moves into the clinch.

Matthews escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Matthews closes the distance but Moker moves to the side
and Moker counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Moker throws a body kick that misses
and Matthews counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Matthews moves away from the strike by Moker.
A quick step to the side and Matthews tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Matthews throws a right and a left that both miss.
Brendan Moker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Moker throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Matthews closes the distance but Moker moves to the side
and Moker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Matthews takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Moker scores with a hook to the body. Matthews takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Moker lands a nice hook to Matthews's body. Matthews takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Matthews shoots in and drives through. Moker sprawls well.

Matthews throws a big counter combination but Moker scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Matthews walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Matthews limp body while Moker jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
