Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Batang Kock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Wiener!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiener steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kock.
Wiener chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kock can pounce on him.

and Wiener counters with a body kick.
Wiener throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Kock counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wiener keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Wiener misses with a head kick.
Wiener ducks under a wild hook from Kock.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kock throws a low kick but Wiener moves out of range easily.
Wiener is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Kock swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Kock bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wiener is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wiener is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kock asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Wiener wants to get back to his feet but Kock drags him back down.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kock uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wiener has time to react.
Kock thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wiener swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kock went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Kock loads up on a big right hand but Wiener slips the punch.

Wiener steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Wiener throws a fast counter high kick but Kock manages to duck under it in time.
Kock is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wiener.

Wiener misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kock.

Wiener looks for the body kick but Kock saw that one coming.
Kock scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Wiener tries to land a front kick but Kock steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kock looks to land a combination but Wiener avoids it well.

Kock shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kock showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kock looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Kock content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Wiener tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Kock manages to move to mount!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kock is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wiener can do to turn this around?
Kock misses with a hook. Wiener ducked under it nicely.
Batang Kock is winning the standup battle so far.

Wiener tries to sprawl but Kock drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've been informed that Wiener has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Wiener is trying to stand.
Kock working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Kock stops Wiener from getting back to his feet.
Kock is stalling here. Wiener is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Kock seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Wiener has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Kock is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wiener off and has taken his back!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kock is punishing Wiener with some ground and pound.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Kock lands a good shot there. Wiener covers up! Kock smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Wiener to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Kock jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Batang Kock!
Batang Kock decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
