Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kung Fu Panda (ranked 4526 p4p, 2283 weight class) and Peetu Tam (ranked 457 p4p, 260 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kung Fu Panda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peetu Tam!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Chris Dean and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tam gets a double leg takedown into Panda's guard.
Tam is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Tam postures up.
Tam lands a couple of elbows.
Panda looking for a sweep. Not yet Panda, not yet.
Panda knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tam on the ground.
Tam seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Tam's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Tam is working Panda over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tam's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Panda escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tam gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tam advances to half guard.
Tam controlling the action here.
Panda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tam moves nicely into side control.
Tam in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Panda tries to bench press Tam off him but Tam keeps the position.
Tam is staying tight to Panda's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Panda is trying to control Tam's posture but Tam avoids it.
Tam working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Tam just content to control the position.
Let's hope that Tam has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Tam has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Panda is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Tam seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Tam prevents Panda from improving his position.
Tam looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Peetu Tam dominated that round.
That's time! Panda's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Panda is looking to clinch but Tam is avoiding it.
Tam tries to counter by closing the distance.
Panda checks a leg kick.
Panda changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Tam. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Panda takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Tam lands a leg kick that knocks Panda off balance momentarily.
Panda closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tam circles away.
A chopping leg kick lands by Panda.
Kung Fu Panda is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Panda takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A good leg kick by Tam.
Panda shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tam defends it nicely.
Panda sets himself, and Tam steps forward looking for the clinch! Panda avoids it this time.

and Tam counters with a nice double leg into side control. Panda won't be happy with that.
Tam has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Tam.
Tam cracks Panda with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Tam controls the position.

Tam cracks Panda with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Tam immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Panda is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Tam!
