Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Topou Oto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Hooks!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oto with a poor takedown
and Hooks counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Oto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Topou Oto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hooks.
Nice takedown defense from Hooks. No joy for Oto on that attempt.
Oto misses with a takedown
and Hooks counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Topou Oto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oooooh!!! Hooks has knocked Oto down with a huge combo! Hooks steps away and waves a wobbly Oto back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Oto is rocked!
It looks like Topou Oto has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No luck for Hooks with that takedown attempt.
Hooks fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
It looked like Oto wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Hooks looks for a takedown but Oto sprawls well.
Oto darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Oto working over Hooks with some ground and pound. Hooks looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Hooks pushes Oto off but Oto dives into side control.
Oto landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Oto works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Oto cracks Hooks with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Oto immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Hooks is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Oto!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Topou Oto!
