Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pebble Braithweight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Simeone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braithweight comes to the cage accompanied by 300 violin. Simeone has chosen Brucia Ancora as his entrance music. Diego Simeone has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Pebble Braithweight's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braithweight throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Braithweight looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Braithweight ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Braithweight throws a jab when Simeone was well out of range.
Braithweight misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck for Braithweight with that takedown attempt.

Braithweight closes the distance and clinches up with Simeone, looking for a takedown. Braithweight pushes Simeone against the cage but Simeone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Simeone throws the left hand but Braithweight avoids the punch easily.

Braithweight throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Simeone.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Simeone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Braithweight connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Simeone throws a half hearted mid kick.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Braithweight looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Simeone is fending him off so far but Braithweight persists. Nope, Simeone circles away and we're back to standing.

No joy there for Simeone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Braithweight drops back looking for a leg! Simeone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Simeone manages to kick Braithweight off! Braithweight jumps back into Simeone's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Simeone is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Braithweight is controlling him.

Braithweight drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Simeone manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Braithweight has Simeone in his guard.

Simeone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Braithweight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Simeone seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Simeone uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Braithweight.

Simeone falls off balance throwing a combination
and Braithweight counters with a nice double leg into side control. Simeone won't be happy with that.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Braithweight tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Braithweight has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Braithweight swings around for an armbar but Simeone sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Braithweight's guard.
Simeone wants to get up but he can't break Braithweight's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Simeone decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Braithweight, up you get!
