Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John C Reilly!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Orla Wanker!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wanker swinging wildly here.
Jab from Wanker.
Wanker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The crowd cheers as Reilly lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wanker doesn't seem phased though.
Wanker takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Orla Wanker has been cut.
Wanker's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Reilly connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wanker scrambles back to his feet.
Wanker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Reilly defends it nicely.
Wanker shoots in for a takedown but Reilly shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Reilly has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Razor Sharp Training Systems in the buildup to the fight.
Reilly throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wanker avoids the body shot from Reilly.
Wanker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Reilly, as that shot connected.
Wanker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Reilly.
A big left from Wanker misses.
Nice jab there from Reilly.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Reilly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wanker moves away.
Wanker feints the counter takedown.
Reilly with a nice cross.
Reilly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wanker was well out of range. Poor timing from Reilly.
Reilly misses with a hook.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wanker throws a head kick that misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Reilly crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wanker - the referee stops the clock and Reilly gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wanker. Reilly manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Reilly punishes Wanker's body with a nice straight punch.
Wanker just misses with a punch to the body.
Wanker lands a nice looking body shot.
Wanker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wanker takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That has opened up Orla Wanker's cut even more.
Wanker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Reilly wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Reilly fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Wanker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reilly blocks a head kick by Wanker.
Reilly cracks Wanker with a right hand to the side of the head.

Wanker is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice defenses there by Wanker.

Reilly feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wanker sprawling to the canvas! Wanker rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Reilly finish him?!
Wanker is still on wobbly legs! Can Reilly finish him?
Reilly circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Wanker tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Reilly wins by KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John C Reilly!
John C Reilly retains his middleweight title!
In his post fight interview, John C Reilly started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
