PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fits Miz (ranked 6507 p4p, 3593 weight class) and Miracle Duck (ranked 618 p4p, 446 weight class). Miz comes to the cage accompanied by Uka Uka - Trippie Redd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Fits Miz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miracle Duck!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duck tries to close the distance and clinch but Miz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Duck clinches with his opponent.

Miz gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Miz content to control rather than advance.
Duck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Miz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Duck is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Miz scores with a couple of nice shots.

Miz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Duck sees it coming and defends easily.
Duck felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Duck is looking for a sweep. Miz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Miz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Miz looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Miz drops an elbow to the side of Duck's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miz lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Duck tries to kick Miz off in order to stand up. Miz Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Miz has hold of Duck's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Duck seems comfortable defending it but Miz has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Duck is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Duck is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Miz couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Fits Miz!
Fits Miz bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
