Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Ellis (ranked 4607 p4p, 4291 weight class) and Robin Godbeer (ranked 0 p4p, 447 weight class). Godbeer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Electric . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godbeer fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Ellis has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Ellis obliges.

Well Ellis has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Shane Ellis was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
