Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jose Carvaleho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Kyle Seehaver!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Columbo Gatti and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seehaver keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Carvaleho lands with a shot to the body.
Carvaleho lands with a nice body punch.
Carvaleho misses with a hook.
Carvaleho throws a jab but it's blocked by Seehaver.
Good shot there by Carvaleho.
Carvaleho lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Seehaver shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Seehaver showed some decent athleticism there.
Carvaleho gets back to full guard.
Carvaleho is pulling down on Seehaver's head. It's preventing any offense from Seehaver, at least for the moment.

Carvaleho is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Seehaver is aware though and is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Seehaver pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carvaleho is keeping the position for now.
Seehaver told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Carvaleho escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Seehaver gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Seehaver engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Seehaver is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Carvaleho has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Seehaver is looking to defend but Carvaleho has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Seehaver! Carvaleho pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Seehaver taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jose Carvaleho!
Jose Carvaleho gave a mention to HARDCORE in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
