Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wilmerr Fudd (ranked 473 p4p, 1232 weight class) and Andrew Barnes (ranked 72 p4p, 178 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fudd takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Fudd throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Barnes tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fudd is in Barnes's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fudd connects with a nice short shot to Barnes's temple.
Fudd seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Fudd is nestled in close to Barnes, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Fudd looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Barnes with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
