Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roughan dives in and scores a takedown into Jones's guard.

Roughan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jones dives on top into guard.

Roughan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jones wants to stand but Roughan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Roughan looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Jones throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Roughan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
