Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Demetrius Cadmo (ranked 4536 p4p, 4659 weight class) and Tut Kaman (ranked 474 p4p, 478 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cadmo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kaman keeping moving, preventing Cadmo from controlling successfully.

Kaman seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kaman can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cadmo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cadmo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Kaman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cadmo to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cadmo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cadmo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kaman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Cadmo drops back looking for a leg! Kaman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kaman manages to kick Cadmo off! Cadmo jumps back into Kaman's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cadmo wants to control from the top but Kaman keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Cadmo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kaman's guard.

Cadmo wants to control from the top but Kaman keeps moving.
Kaman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cadmo . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cadmo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kaman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kaman tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Cadmo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Cadmo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kaman's half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Cadmo has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kaman is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Cadmo yanks on the arm and Kaman is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Cadmo .
