Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randolph Brown (ranked 4291 p4p, 6258 weight class) and Brett Nixon (ranked 508 p4p, 0 weight class). Nixon has chosen Throw it on me as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Randolph Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brett Nixon! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Nixon. Nixon obviously looking to wear him down.
Nixon lands with a nice combination. Brown backs away looking to recover. Nixon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A little feinted left hand from Brown on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Brown drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nixon is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Brown has just dragged him back down to the mat. Nixon is trying to escape the position but Brown is controlling the position. Brown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nixon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Nixon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nixon trying to remain calm as Brown controls from the top position. Nixon is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Brown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nixon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nixon is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Brown has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown controls the position. Brown seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nixon for as long as he can get away with. Brown has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Nixon! Brown takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Brown fails to move to back control. Brown tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Brown is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Nixon has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown controlling from the full mount. Nixon is trying to stand. Brown has isolated one of Nixon's arms. Nixon looking to fight him off but Brown twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
