Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mitch Rapp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Lucas!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rapp looks to throw the jab but Lucas is out of range.
Lucas lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Rapp throws a shot from downtown. Lucas moves away and avoids it.
Rapp lands a big right hand that sends Lucas crashing to the mat! Rapp stays standing though and waves Lucas back to his feet!
It looks like Frank Lucas has been cut.
Lucas slips a jab from Rapp.
Lucas smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rapp has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rapp there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rapp throws a looping overhand right but Lucas ducks down to avoid it.
Mitch Rapp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lucas lands with a kick to the ribs.
Lucas blocks a jab.
Rapp throws a hook but Lucas blocks it.
Rapp on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Rapp misses with a hook. Lucas ducked under it nicely.
Lucas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rapp.
Lucas lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rapp at a distance.
We've been told by Rapp's head coaches at IMMA Gym of Elite ASS that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Rapp throws a lazy uppercut
and Lucas counters with an inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lucas cracks Rapp with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Rapp throws a hook to the side of Lucas's head but Lucas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lucas looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Rapp misses with a lunging right hand
and Lucas counters with a nice uppercut.
Rapp throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lucas counters with a nice kick to the body.
Lucas bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Rapp gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lucas.
Rapp throws a hook to the side of Lucas's head but Lucas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lucas looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Lucas avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rapp misses with a hook
and Lucas counters with a two punch combo.
Lucas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rapp.
Lucas slips under a jab.
Lucas appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lucas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rapp.
Lucas fakes the leg kick and cracks Rapp in the body.
Rapp misses with an uppercut.
Rapp looks to land a left hand but Lucas moved out of range nicely.
A nice side step and Lucas releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Rapp misses with a left hand
and Lucas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lucas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rapp.
Rapp finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Lucas's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Rapp falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Lucas!
