Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anders Hansson (ranked 641 p4p, 1328 weight class) and Veikko Keskinen (ranked 78 p4p, 164 weight class). Anders Hansson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keskinen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hansson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Keskinen finds it's way round the side to connect with Hansson's head.
Keskinen moves in looking to clinch but Hansson pushes him off.
A little feinted left hand from Hansson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Keskinen misses with a body shot.
Keskinen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Hansson counters with an outside leg kick.
Keskinen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Hansson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hansson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Keskinens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Keskinen rushes Hansson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Keskinen tries to land a knee to the head but Hansson blocks with his arms.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Hansson.
Keskinen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hansson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Hansson pulls Keskinen into guard.
Hansson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Hansson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hansson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Keskinen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Keskinen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Keskinen is looking to stand up but Hansson won't let him.

Hansson has his foot on Keskinen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Keskinen works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hansson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Keskinen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Hansson has an active guard here but Keskinen has managed to pass into half guard.
Hansson is staying active underneath Keskinen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

After the fight, Anders Hansson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
