The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oquendo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
We've been told by Young's head coaches at five angels that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Oquendo lands the left hand.
Young tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Oquendo misses with a hook to the body
and Young counters with a straight right hand.

Young clinches up with Oquendo and pushes him back against the cage.
Oquendo swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Young blocking some punches.

Young pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice body punch from Oquendo.
Oquendo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Oquendo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oquendo fails to land with a series of punches.
Oquendo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Oquendo lands with an overhand left.
Young takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Oquendo drops Young with a huge uppercut! Young drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Oquendo is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
