PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Bok (ranked 1975 p4p, 3222 weight class) and Vargas Thompson (ranked 229 p4p, 365 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bok might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Give It Revolution. Thompson has chosen Freddie King - Side Tracked as his entrance music. Maxim Bok has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vargas Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson misses with a left hand
and Bok cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bok connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Thompson closes the distance but Bok moves to the side

and Bok counters with a nice right hand that sends Thompson toppling to the canvas! Thompson scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bok finish him?!

Thompson is rocked!

Bok shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Bok slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Bok lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Maxim Bok!
