Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Petrov.

Horrible takedown attempt by Hart or perhaps it was just good defense by Petrov, which made it look bad.

and Petrov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Hart changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Petrov tries to avoid it but Hart manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Petrov to the ground. Petrov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wayne Hart. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hart ducks right into an uppercut from Petrov.
Petrov throws a right hand that Hart ducks under and follows up with a left that Hart also avoids with ease.
Hart closes this distance looking for a takedown but Petrov circles away.
Hart shoots for a double leg takedown but Petrov sprawls well. He's pushed Hart's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hart darts in looking for a takedown but Petrov gets double underhooks and turns Hart into the cage.

As Hart backs off Petrov throws a huge counter combo but Hart manages to avoid it all.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hart drops an elbow to the side of Petrov's head.
Hart winds up and cracks Petrov with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Petrov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hart pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hart is working Petrov over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Petrov has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hart should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Petrov has tightened it up now! Hart should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
