Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wade Caparzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Artis Freibergs!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freibergs tries for a takedown but Caparzo circles away easily
and Caparzo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Freibergs has a takedown stuffed.
Freibergs dives in and grabs Caparzo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Caparzo pushes down on Freibergs's head and hops out.
We've been told by Caparzo's head coaches at Bennies Boppers that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wade Caparzo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Artis Freibergs.
Caparzo digs a good body shot into Freibergs's ribs.

and Caparzo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Caparzo manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Freibergs is trying to maintain a safe position but Caparzo gets an underhook and turns Freibergs into the cage.

Freibergs jumps guard but Caparzo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Caparzo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Caparzo scores with a jab to the jaw.
Freibergs goes for a double leg but Caparzo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Caparzo continues to drive forward.
Caparzo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wade Caparzo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Freibergs throws a sloppy head kick and Caparzo moves out of range easily.
Caparzo swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Caparzo scores with a jab to the jaw.
Caparzo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Freibergs.
Freibergs takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Caparzo lands a slapping body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Caparzo keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Caparzo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Freibergs eats them both and turns towards Caparzo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Freibergs is rocked!
Freibergs looks up at the clock. Bad move! Caparzo lands a right hand from hell, dropping Freibergs. Caparzo pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wade Caparzo!
