Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Poop Head (ranked 4452 p4p, 4117 weight class) and Jerome Brat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jerome Brat will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Poop Head!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerome Brat!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brat tries to keep at a distance but Head has taken the fight into the clinch.
Head misses with some punches.
Brat breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brat moves into the clinch successfully.
Brat is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Head is trying to maintain a safe position but Brat gets an underhook and turns Head into the cage.
Brat blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Brat decides to pull guard.
Brat is pulling down on Head's head to control his posture.
Head really is a fat lump.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brat is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Brat pulls Head in close to his closed guard and prevents Head from doing any damage or advancing position.
Head stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brat swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Head is fighting to break Brat's control of his arms but Brat is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Brat keeping moving, preventing Head from controlling successfully.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Head shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Brat counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Brat shoots in for a takedown but Head shows good takedown defense.
Brat shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brat showed some decent athleticism there.
Head throws a strike from the bottom but Brat passes into side control!
Brat has control of an arm but Head manages to advance to Brat's back!
Head doesn't have the hooks in and Brat manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Head not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Head knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brat on the ground.
Brat content to stall in guard here.

Head is looking for a triangle here but Brat uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Head is breathing heavily.
Brat creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Brat controlling the position.
Brat has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Head stuffs the takedown attempt from Brat. Brat gets slowly back to his feet.
A shot to the liver by Brat. Beautiful body shot.
Brat shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Head but Head pushes him off and we're back to square one.
It looked like Head wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Poop Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerome Brat.
Brat shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Head as he avoids it easily.
Brat shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Head defends it nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A low kick from Head misses
and Brat counters with a stiff right hand.
Brat gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Head gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Brat counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jab, jab by Brat - just one landing.
Head stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Head wants it to stay on the feet.
Head fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Brat to the ground. Head is now in Brat's guard.
Head looking to sit in guard and control but Brat gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Brat passes Head's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Brat has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Brat looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Head has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brat is working away from the top position though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Brat is taking a breather. Head says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Brat wants to pass to mount but Head is defending the position.
Head trying to control but Brat postures up.
Brat trying to control the pace.
Brat is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Head is just riding it out for now. Brat eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brat performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Brat frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Head is wriggling around trying to escape.
Head regains half guard.
Brat decides to stand and escape the position.
Brat fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Head sprawls well initially but Brat persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Head is looking to get back to is feet but Brat passes into side control.
Brat is staying tight to Head's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Brat looks up at the clock and then as Head takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Brat smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

A lull in the action here as Brat stalls from top position.
Brat stands up and beckons Head to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brat.
Brat gets the takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Brat controlling the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jerome Brat showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Head gets tackled into the cage by Brat. Brat maintains the clinch.
Head prevents the takedown attempt.
Head tries to break free but Brat pushes him back against the cage.
Brat is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Brat pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Brat tries for a takedown but Head circles away easily
and Head counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Head gets tackled into the cage by Brat. Brat maintains the clinch.
Brat jumps guard.
Brat wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Jerome Brat has got the better of the ground game so far.

Head stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brat swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Brat is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
