Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Nero La Croix (ranked 18252 p4p, 1724 weight class) and Oson Bon (ranked 208 p4p, 72 weight class). La Croix comes into the arena with Ca Plane Pour Moi blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bon throws a leg kick but La Croix checks it.
That kick from Bon tenderised La Croix's leg. La Croix is trying to keep his angry face on.
La Croix ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Some bone on bone action there as La Croix checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Bon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bon misses with an uppercut. La Croix saw that one coming.
Bon throws a low kick but it's checked well by La Croix.
Bon fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but La Croix is out of range.
La Croix digs a good body shot into Bon's ribs.
Bon attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
La Croix misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bon only half commits to the counter leg kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bon is looking to chop away at La Croix's legs.
Bon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
La Croix moves out of range of the strikes.

Oson Bon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and La Croix has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

La Croix steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bon.
La Croix looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Bon slips a jab from La Croix.
La Croix looks to land a body kick but Bon moved away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bon! But no joy.
La Croix is looking to slow Bon down with leg kicks.
La Croix blocks a head kick by Bon.

and La Croix finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

It looks like Oson Bon has been cut.

Bon tries to keep at a distance but La Croix has taken the fight into the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from La Croix.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Still in the clinch, La Croix scores with a nice short uppercut.
La Croix digs a right hand underneath Bon's ribcage. Bon let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Nice body punch from La Croix - that landed with a thud.
La Croix lands an elbow inside.
La Croix with a knee to the head.
Bon takes an elbow to the temple.

That has opened up Oson Bon's cut even more.

The crowd are calling 'kneeees!' as La Croix has the Thai clinch. La Croix obliges, smashing a knee brutally into Bon's nose and sending him crashing to the canvas! Will be beat the count?! 3,4,5,6,7,8...9... and he's up on 9! Wow, that was close! The referee takes a long look and is going to allow it to continue!

Bon is rocked!
La Croix lands a leg kick that knocks Bon off balance momentarily.
Bon is still on wobbly legs! Can La Croix finish him?

La Croix connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Bon onto his butt! Bon bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
La Croix throws a sloppy head kick and Bon moves out of range easily.
Bon seems to have recovered his senses.
Bon leaves his chin hanging out and La Croix seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Bon crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nero La Croix!

A relieved looking Nero La Croix thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
