Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cain Velasquez!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez has his takedown stuffed
and Justis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Justis throws a body punch but Velasquez moves out of range.
Justis throws the left hand but Velasquez avoids the punch easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Justis drops Velasquez with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Velasquez looks back up at him and smiles so Justis waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Velasquez fails with the takedown
and Justis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Velasquez darts in looking for a takedown but Justis gets double underhooks and turns Velasquez into the cage.
Logan Justis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Velasquez.

Velasquez misses with a takedown
and Justis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A swing and a miss from Justis.

Justis clinches with his opponent.
Velasquez has Justis pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Justis manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Justis prevents the takedown attempt.

Justis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Justis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Velasquez. Velasquez circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Velasquez takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Velasquez is still on wobbly legs! Can Justis finish him?
Velasquez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Justis counters with a huge left! Velasquez is in big trouble! He's backing up but Justis isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Velasquez from any more damage. A dominating finish by Justis!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Logan Justis!
Logan Justis really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
