The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Ferreira. No joy for Sanchez on that attempt.
Sanchez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ferreira.
Sanchez throws a head kick that misses.

Sanchez tries to keep at a distance but Ferreira has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sanchez tries to pull guard but Ferreira forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Ferreira throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sanchez blocks it with crossed arms.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferreira jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sanchez walks away with a smile on his face. Ferreira gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
