And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Conner Travers!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherkov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Travers comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sherkov on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Travers lands with a right hand.
Sherkov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Travers swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sherkov tries to counter with a takedown but Travers is quick to defend against it.
Travers fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sherkov sprawls well initially but Travers persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Travers in particular looking to stall.
Travers is trying for a kimura here. Sherkov looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Travers wins by kimura!
