and Hippobody counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Shaq Champlain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Champlain moves into range and clinches up with Hippobody.
Champlain jumps guard but Hippobody stands there with Champlain around his waist. Champlain gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Augustus Hippobody has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shaq Champlain.

Hippobody wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Champlain has him pressed against the cage.
Champlain is looking to control Hippobody's arms but Hippobody gets an underhook and turns him. Now Champlain has his back to the cage.
Champlain has Hippobody pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hippobody manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
