Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 2, fighting out of New York, Michael Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Teron Steeley!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Scott throws a head kick that Steeley semi-blocks.
Scott feints and then cracks Steeley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Steeley down.
Steeley walks forward, straight into a front kick from Scott.
Nice body kick from Scott.
Steeley takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Scott avoids the body shot from Steeley.
Scott uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Steeley has time to react.
Steeley throws a predictable looking body shot
and Scott counters with a nice low kick that buckles Steeley's knee momentarily.
Steeley doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scott lands a head kick. Steeley smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Scott explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Scott dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Steeley. That did some damage!

Steeley has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Scott.

Scott throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Steeley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Scott swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Steeley.

Scott bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Steeley's head backwards.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Steeley has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Scott.
Steeley ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Scott takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Scott throws a shot to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Scott lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Michael Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Steeley crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Scott - the referee stops the clock and Steeley gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Scott. Steeley manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
