Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hafir Dharris (ranked 3340 p4p, 2798 weight class) and D.D Panda (ranked 410 p4p, 355 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hafir Dharris !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, D.D Panda!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dharris displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Panda.
Panda closes the distance but Dharris moves to the side

and Dharris counters with a takedown into side control.
Dharris has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Panda is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

I've been told that Panda has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dharris has control of Panda's left arm, preventing Panda from doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Hafir Dharris will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Panda shoots in looking for a takedown. Dharris tries to sprawl out of it but Panda keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dharris manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Panda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dharris pinned against the cage. Dharris gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Panda is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dharris sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hafir Dharris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of D.D Panda.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Panda is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Dharris takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Dharris is keen to just control but Panda is a slippery customer.
Dharris is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Dharris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Panda on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dharris is taking a breather. Panda says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Panda has hold of Dharris 's hands but Dharris slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Dharris is looking to take a break and control but Panda is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dharris is nestled in close to Panda, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Panda moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Dharris got a little sloppy there for a moment and Panda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dharris has managed to get both his arms back between Panda's legs - danger averted.

Dharris is sitting in close to Panda's body. Panda has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Dharris is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Dharris is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Panda.
