The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Beddo Ii as he jumps to the side.
Beddo Ii has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from King finds it's way round the side to connect with Beddo Ii's head.

It looks like Philo Beddo Ii has been cut.
King walks into a jab.
Beddo Ii moves out of range of the strikes.
Sammy King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King sends Beddo Ii crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! King is motioning to the referee to let Beddo Ii up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Beddo Ii is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Beddo Ii throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A swing and a miss from King.
King takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
King is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
King throws a left and a right that both miss
and Beddo Ii counters with a good low kick that King was not able to check.
King throws a right and a left that both miss.
Beddo Ii looks like he wants to counter punch here.
King is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Beddo Ii.
Beddo Ii throws a quick inside leg kick.
King walks into a stiff left hand from Beddo Ii.

King clinches up with Beddo Ii and pushes him back against the cage.
King has had enough of the clinch but Beddo Ii keeps him there for the moment.
King misses with the head strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Beddo Ii pushes King back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
King throws a punch but it's blocked by Beddo Ii.
A right hook to the body lands for Beddo Ii.
King is breathing heavily.
Beddo Ii makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Beddo Ii lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Beddo Ii lands a knee to the head.
King is looking to break free of the clinch but Beddo Ii has double underhooks.
King tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Beddo Ii smiles and moves away.
King on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Beddo Ii lands with a straight right. King didn't see that one coming.
Beddo Ii connects with an inside leg kick.
King misses with a shot to the body
and Beddo Ii counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
King ducks right into an uppercut from Beddo Ii.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Beddo Ii knocks King out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
