Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Breedon (ranked 1264 p4p, 1025 weight class) and Jacks Sole (ranked 174 p4p, 145 weight class). Breedon comes to the cage accompanied by Quiet Riot - Come On Feel The Noise. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Breedon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jacks Sole!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Breedon shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sole manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Breedon throws a big right hand that misses.
Breedon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sole wants to sweep here but Breedon controlling him for the moment.
Sole bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Breedon's guard.

Breedon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Breedon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sole manages to get himself to full guard.

Sole controlling the position.
Breedon passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Sole told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Sole gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Breedon wants to control the pace but Sole is squirming around nicely.

Sole in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Breedon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sole looks a forlorn figure.
Sole wants to control but Breedon is having none of it.
Sole is looking to improve his position but Breedon isn't that keen on the idea.

Breedon is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sole can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Sole holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Breedon tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Sole tries to lock up and control but Breedon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Sole might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Breedon haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Breedon is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sole has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Breedon prevents Sole from getting the reversal.
Sole tries to hold on but Breedon postures up.
Sole really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Breedon landing strikes, looking to finish!

A nice elbow there by Breedon.

Breedon goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sole turns into him and now he's in Breedon's guard.
Sole's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Breedon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sole showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Breedon controls Sole momentarily but Sole frees himself.
Breedon working a defensive guard but Sole manages to pass into side control anyway.
Breedon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Breedon is looking to regain half guard here but Sole keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sole trying to control the action but Breedon is working from the bottom.
Sole is chipping away with strikes.

Sole has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Breedon misses with a two punch combination.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sole! But no joy.
Some wild striking there from Breedon.
Sole displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Breedon.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Breedon shoots in looking for a takedown but Sole manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Breedon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Breedon misses with a body shot.
Sole unleashes a big counter combination but Breedon bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Tom Breedon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Breedon has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Tom Breedon has been cut.
Sole lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Sole slips a jab and a cross from Breedon.
Breedon fails to land with a series of punches.
Breedon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sole throws a counter combo.
Breedon misses the shot to the body.
No joy there for Breedon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Breedon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Breedon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Breedon falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sole counters with a nice body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Breedon throws a combination. Sole tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Breedon throws a hook but Sole avoids it easily.
Sole is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Sole ducks under a wild hook from Breedon.
Breedon throws the left hand but Sole avoids the punch easily.
Breedon throws a jab but it's blocked by Sole.
Tom Breedon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sole connects with a crisp jab.
Sole rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Breedon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tom Breedon is winning the standup battle so far.
Sole lands a slapping body shot.
Breedon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Breedon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Sole connects with a leg kick.
Breedon misses with an uppercut
and Sole connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Breedon misses with a left hand
and Sole comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Breedon stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Sole is on him like rabid pit bull! Breedon slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
