Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick Dick (ranked 2182 p4p, 1504 weight class) and Gustav Line (ranked 299 p4p, 217 weight class). Line has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Gustav Line has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dick staying out of range there.
Dick dives in for a single leg takedown but Line sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Line fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Dick ducks under a wild hook from Line.
Dick misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dick steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Line.
Line walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dick checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Line lands a big head kick that sends Dick tumbling to the mat! Line takes a step backwards and waves Dick back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Dick is rocked!

It looks like Rick Dick has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dick tries to score a power double leg takedown but Line sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dick somewhat.
Oh Dick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Line! But no joy.

Line throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dick changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Line throws a nice looking combination but Dick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dick takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Dick closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Line's guard.
Dick postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dick lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Dick wants to control from the top but Line keeps moving.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Line working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dick doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dick manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dick has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Line throws his legs up looking for a submission but Dick uses it to pass to side control.

Line throws a lazy right hand but Dick sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Line clinches up with Dick and pushes him back against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Line creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Dick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Line misses with a hook.
Line with the inside leg kick.
Line has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Line misses the shot to the body.
Gustav Line seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Line throws a sloppy head kick and Dick moves out of range easily.

Line rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dick moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gustav Line spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
