Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Kras (ranked 3876 p4p, 3414 weight class) and Efrem Davydov (ranked 394 p4p, 355 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Davydov's choice of entrance music: Bop - Mr Credo. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Don Kras!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Efrem Davydov!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kras got a little sloppy there for a moment and Davydov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kras has managed to get both his arms back between Davydov's legs - danger averted.

Kras changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Davydov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Davydov tries to buck Kras off but Kras is having none of it.

Kras wants to lay and pray for a moment but Davydov keeps working.

Kras is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Davydov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Don Kras is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kras wants to stand up but Davydov is controlling him.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Davydov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kras to the mat! Kras manages to get full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Don Kras.
Well Kras has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
