Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Logan Justis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens fails to land the takedown.
Stevens clinches up against the cage.
Justis is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Stevens taking a breather.
Justis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stevens has his takedown stuffed
and Justis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Logan Justis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Stevens.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stevens shoots for a takedown but Justis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Stevens misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Justis.
Justis was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Logan Justis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stevens moves to clinch but Justis breaks away
and Justis counters with a nice body shot.
Stevens rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Justis counters with a nice uppercut.
Jab, jab by Justis - just one landing.
Stevens tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Justis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Stevens throws a body shot but no joy.
It looked like Justis was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Stevens.
Stevens doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Justis counters with a hugh head kick that removes Stevens from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Logan Justis!
