The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Martynov. Those never looked like landing.
Martynov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stewart jabs Martynov right on the nose. Martynov blinks but takes it well.

Stewart has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Stewart drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Martynov throws the left hand but Stewart avoids the punch easily.
Stewart uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Stewart forces Martynov back against the cage and clinches.
Martynov lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Stewart swings wildly with an uppercut but Martynov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Stewart takes a shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Martynov stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Stewart tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Martynov manages to pull guard.
Martynov keeping moving, preventing Stewart from controlling successfully.

Martynov is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stewart is stalling in the full guard.
Martynov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Martynov has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Stewart should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Martynov has tightened it up now! Stewart should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
