Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zheko Melondov (ranked 497 p4p, 848 weight class) and Sven Svensson (ranked 71 p4p, 99 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Melondov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shawty's like a melody . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sven Svensson!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Melondov counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Sven Svensson has been cut.
Melondov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Melondov bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Svensson's head.
Svensson blocks a low kick nicely.
Svensson flicks out a counter leg kick but Melondov steps away.
Melondov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Svensson on the side of the head.
Melondov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Svensson darts in and clinches Melondov up against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Svensson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Melondov backwards.
Melondov makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Svensson misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Melondov creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Svensson's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Svensson drops to his knees and Melondov pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

After winning the bout, Zheko Melondov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
