Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomomisan Tsuruta (ranked 1367 p4p, 1726 weight class) and James McGuire (ranked 185 p4p, 225 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McGuire's choice of entrance music: Metallica - Enter Sandman . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tomomisan Tsuruta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James McGuire!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Tomomisan Tsuruta has been cut.

Tsuruta has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
