Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johnny Lydon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, CJ Robinson!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lydon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Robinson was well out of range. Poor timing from Lydon.
Robinson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lydon tries to bum rush Robinson with a series of wild strikes but Robinson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lydon thuds his right hand into Robinson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Robinson slips a straight right by Lydon.
Lydon throws a shot from downtown. Robinson moves away and avoids it.
Robinson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lydon moves away.
Lydon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robinson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Lydon throws a front kick aimed at Robinson's knee but Robinson avoids it well.
Robinson throws a push kick but Lydon slaps the foot to one side.

Lydon tried to score with a low kick but Robinson checks it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lydon throws a wild body kick that Robinson sees coming a mile off.
Robinson now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Lydon misses with a lunging right hand
and Robinson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Lydon lands a big head kick that sends Robinson tumbling to the mat! Lydon takes a step backwards and waves Robinson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Robinson is rocked!
It looks like CJ Robinson has been cut.
Lydon flashes Robinson a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Robinson's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Robinson crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Lydon punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johnny Lydon!
