Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Javier Pinales (ranked 689 p4p, 520 weight class) and Luke Neil (ranked 98 p4p, 74 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neil shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Neil showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


A momentary lapse in concentration from Pinales enables Neil to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pinales manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Pinales has his foot on Neil's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Neil works his way back into a safe position though.

Pinales has his feet on Neil's thighs here. He's pushed Neil off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Neil screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Javier Pinales!
Javier Pinales made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'This bitch only beat me in our last fight, because I forgot to set my sliders!!! Who is next???'.
